Where is the AVA Summit US taking place?
The AVA Summit US is taking place at the LAX Marriott located in Los Angeles, California. The address is 5855 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045
When will the event program be published publicly?
Early to mid March. We will announce it across social media and email as soon as it's ready. Stay tuned!
I need to plan my travel and flights. What time does the event begin and end?
The event will begin (tentatively) on Thursday, May 15, around 11am. The first day will consist of networking, meetups, and Grantee Day, followed by the Opening Ceremony. The event will come to an end around 3pm on Sunday, May 18.
I am registered for the AVA Summit US, and want to participate in Grantee Day on May 15th. How can I do this?

Is food provided during the AVA Summit?
Yes! The AVA Summit is providing the following meals throughout the event:

Friday, May 16: Full breakfast, full lunch, dinner independent

Sunday, May 18: Full breakfast, maybe a brunch*

Are all meals provided by the AVA Summit vegan?
Why yes, of course they are!
Is AVA partnering with any local restaurants to provide convenient options for attendees for after Summit snacks, meals, and dinner?
Absolutely! This year, we're partnering (again!) with Planted Society, providing out attendees with ample local vegan options. In addition to this, we are working with the hotel restaurant and hotel market to provide vegan meals, so that you don't even need to leave the hotel if you don't want to.

Does the AVA Summit hotel block have down alternative (vegan) bedding and pillows?
We are working with the hotel to secure as many rooms as possible with down-alternative bedding to keep your stay vegan-friendly. Please be sure to include this request during your booking process. I applied to Speak at AVA Summit US. When will I receive a verdict on my application?

I applied for a Travel Award Scholarship. When will I hear back and/or receive my first payment?

I missed the Travel Award Scholarship deadline. Can AVA make an exception?
Unfortunately, we can not make an exception. Our funding is limited and we receive 100-130 application per event application term, which makes it rather competitive. We can not make an exception because it wouldn't be equitable to all those who may have missed the deadline for a variety of reasons.
I need to cancel or transfer my registration. How can I do this?
We accept cancellations with a full refund up to 3 weeks before May 15, 2025. To request a cancellation, refund, or registration transfer to another person, please email our Head of Communications, Amie Albright, at: Amie@AVASummit.com
